Our weather here is still stunningly beautiful, and mother nature is still trying to make us believe that we are in the midst of summer. A quick trip to the beach tells you otherwise. The waves tell us of what's coming. Instead of these clear vibrant colors you see here, we are now seeing dark, large, rolling waves that crash like thunder on our shores even though the skies are still blue and the sun shines brightly. Mother Nature is just now bending and recognizing we've entered October because she's added that Fall fresh crispness to the air that I've been longing for as a native Oregonian.
Before the skies darken and we say goodbye to "summer," here's a wave I titled "Tahiti," in honor of the glorious seas and skies that turn California into Tahiti on certain days and make us locals forever grateful that we get the honor of living in such a beautiful place.
